During this recent times, politics in GHANA has really become a different thing altogether that is, since every political party wants to be in power, every party leader is trying hard to win the hearts of its people by bringing in good policies just to get help from the people but, the actual question is, must it always be in an election period before a party leader can help its nation?

A recent post by  Nana Akufo Addo,  the president of Ghana,  on his official Twitter account indicated that his government with the help of district assemblies has exempted the " KAYAYE" individuals from paying market tolls.

Many Ghanaians  who seems unhappy have responded to the post to express their feelings on the most recent turn of events. Yet, some state that, "we can't be deceived any more" This was the remark of one Benedict Gomez, under the post from the president.

Now that the election is near, the president is taking such advantage to win the heart of the people starting with the KAYAYE who carry peoples load in the market centers to feed for themselves and their family. Is the president now noticing that they should be exempted from paying market tolls?

Some party supporters have embraced the development however others have condemned the move made by his excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
