Information reaching our news desk states that invaders believed to be sent by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have entered the premises of UTV and interrupted their United Showbiz, swearing not to allow the show to happen tonight.
According to sources, several letters have been issued to the TV station warning them to refrain from discussing the party's issues on their show.
Hiplife artist Kwame A Plus, also one of the panelists of the United Showbiz every Saturday, tore their letter into pieces on live TV last week. The bad guys got angry and decided to invade and stop the show from happening today, October 7th, 2023. Insiders claim that A Plus was assaulted, which we are yet to confirm.
"We need A Plus to render an unqualified apology for insulting our Vice president, General Secretary, and the President. We storm this place because no one is here to defend them, and we are the party's youth." The leader of the Invaders told the police.
Multiple outlets suggest that the show's producer, Fadda Dickson, was busy at Ofori Sarpong's daughter's wedding this evening, so they took that advantage to invade the station to interrupt the show.
Their strategies succeeded, but it will be a long week as investigations into who sent them will be conducted. The incident is now with the Ghana Police Service.
