President Akufo-Addo sacked Dr. John Ofori-Tenkorang as the Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
According to reports, the boss of SSNIT will take a 90-day salary and accumulate any terminal advantage he is authorized to.
In the report signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo also directed him to give his office to Mr. Kofi Bosompem Osafo Maafo.
"To ensure a smooth transition, please pass over and cease to operate as Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) by the end of business on Monday, April 15, 2024. "The President thanks you for serving the nation and extends his best wishes," he said.
