Funny Face allegedly knocked down passersby at Kasoa in the Central Region with his vehicle Sunday night. Eyewitnesses claim he was drunk driving and lost control of his car, resulting in the accident.

According to a video published on social media, the collision occurred at the Kakraba crossroads in Kasoa. The victims included a mother, two children walking by the roadside, and two additional adults riding motorcycles.

After the crash, a police officer arrived and took Funny Face, also known as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, away.

Victims were also sent to the hospital. One of the eyewitnesses in the video attached below stated that he witnessed the occurrence while parking his vehicle by the wayside. As he came closer, he noticed Funny Face behind the wheel of the accident vehicle.

However, according to his comic colleague, DKB, the police reacted fast to the incident and halted Funny Face from being beaten by the crowd.

He also added that none of the victims perished, as was previously speculated.

"All I can say is thanks to the Ghana Police for coming to the scene quickly; else, Funny Face would have been attacked, and also, nobody is dead."

DKB has called on all Ghanaian comedians and celebrities to help him through these difficult times.

It's no longer that news that the former Chorkor Trotro television series star has been dealing with mental health problems for several months and was recently discharged from a psychiatric facility.
