John Mahama and the NDC executives solace Nana Konadu and the Rawlings’ family

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, and the NDC executives solace with the family of the late Jerry John Rawlings at his residence in Accra.

Joined by the Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and the NDC pioneer communicated the sympathies of the gathering to H.E. Mrs Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, the kids, and close family.

Dr Zenetor Agyeman-Rawlings, who talked in the family's interest, said she is overpowered by the Ghanaians' demonstration of affection and care. Dr. Zenetor guaranteed that the family would work intimately with the public authority to ensure the late Jerry John Rawlings was given befitting internment.

Stun waves resounded over the length and breadth of the nation late Thursday morning as the upsetting information on the downfall of previous President Jerry John Rawlings broke.

Before the races in 1992, Rawlings set up the National Commission on Democracy (NDC) and utilized it to review regular citizen sentiment to encourage a vote-based change.
