Apologise to UTV and NPP

To recall, some alleged invaders believed to have been sent by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on October 7th, 2023, went to the studios of UTV to disrupt their United Showbiz program. According to the InterCity State Transport Corporation's Chief Executive Officer, he does not support their violent approach.

In an interview on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show with Kwami Sefa Kayi, Nana Akomea defined the attack on the panelists as "wrong and unacceptable."

He added that the law should work so that Ghanaians will accept the good image of the party.

"It is shocking, with all the security, how do 15 men break through to a studio room like that? he asked the host. The UTV management will strengthen its security from today onwards. Nana Akomea added.

The police report suggests that the 16 individuals out of the 30 who forcibly took over the program for an hour are in their custody.

They claim Kwame A Plus had torn a letter sent to UTV management by NPP requesting reform of the show they claim has been repeatedly used to denigrate the president and the entire government.

Subsequently, Nana Akomea calls on the individuals involved in the violent incident to admit their fault and apologize to UTV and the  Party because the NPP is against the misconduct.

"I'd like that they apologize to UTV and their party," Nana Akomea admonished the thugs.
